MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russian Prime MInister Dmitry Medvedev and Germany Chancellor Angela Merkel may hold a brief meeting on the sidelines of the Asia-Europe Meeting in Mongolia, Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Prikhodko said.
"A contact 'on foot,' as they say, with Merkel is possible, as well as with heads of other delegations," Prikhodko told reporters in Moscow.
Prikhodko also said Dmitry Medvedev may hold talks with a number of heads of state and government.
According to Prikhodko, details of Medvedev's meetings with Czech President Miloš Zeman and Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades are still being worked out.
"The meeting with Swiss President Johann Schneider-Ammann has been scheduled for July 15," he told reporters.
Mongolia will host the 11th ASEM Summit of Heads of State and Government (ASEM11) on July 15-16, 2016 in capital Ulaanbaatar.
