In the wake of the Bastille Day attack in Nice, the presumptive Republican US presidential nominee has weighed in.

It is still unclear who is behind the attack, in which a driver plowed into pedestrians during a firework display along the Nice waterfront, leaving an estimated 80 dead and some 120 injured. As facts trickle in, Donald Trump appears to be blaming the incident on terrorists.

The candidate has made a pledge to bar Muslims from entering the United States a central part of his campaign, and has seized on previous attacks in similar ways.

After the shooting at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida, Trump appeared to boast how his policies would have prevented the tragedy that killed 49 people.

In light of the most recent attack, Trump claims he will delay the anoucement of his running mate, which he was scheduled to reveal on Friday.
