The Alliance for Shared Values (AfSV), a non-profit group linked to Turkish opposition cleric Fethullah Gulen condemned the attempted military coup in Turkey, the group said in a statement.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) —Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and other officials have blamed Gulen and his supporters for the coup attempt.

"We condemn any military intervention in [the] domestic politics of Turkey," the AfSV stated on Friday.
