MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russia and the United States will continue efforts to stop support of terrorism in Syria from abroad and to strengthen the ceasefire regime in the war-torn country, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Friday.
"We have reaffirmed the goal — to eliminate threats posed by the Islamic State, Nusra Front and other terrorist groups, stop the flow of support of terrorism from abroad," Lavrov said at a joint news conference with US State Secretary John Kerry following talks in Moscow.
Lavrov added that the sides emphasized the efforts to strengthen ceasefire in Syria.
