MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Kerry is currently in Moscow for talks with his counterpart Sergei Lavrov and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"I think people all over the world are looking to us and waiting for us to find a faster and more tangible way of them feeling that everything that is possible is being done to end this terror scourge and unite the world in the most comprehensive efforts possible to fight back against their depraved approach to life and death," Kerry said during meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
The United States and Russia have a unique opportunity to make a difference in the world and also improve their bilateral relations, according to the state secretary.
"Russia and the United States have the ability uniquely here to be able to make a difference, and in making that difference we can also have an effect on the bilateral relationship in ways that I think both you and I would like to see some progress," Kerry told reporters.
