MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Russian center for Syrian reconciliation at the Hmeimim airbase has not registered violations of the ceasefire regime in Syria in the last 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said Friday.
"Within last 24 hours, no ceasefire violations have been registered in the Syrian Arab Republic," the ministry said in a daily bulletin posted on its website.
The number of settlements that have joined the ceasefire regime in Syria has increased to 186, the Russian Defense Ministry said Friday.
"Within the last 24 hours, a truce agreement has been reached with representatives of a settlement in Homs province, bringing the total number of settlements that have joined ceasefire to 186," the ministry said in a daily bulletin posted on its website.
According to the document, negotiations on joining ceasefire regime have been continued with field commanders of armed opposition units operating in Damascus, Quneitra, and As-Suwayda provinces.
The Russia-US brokered ceasefire regime in Syria came into force on February 27.
