As many as 63 percent of US citizens said they considered race relations in the country to be generally bad, a poll revealed on Sunday.

Sanders' Endorsement of Clinton Critical in 'Close Race' Against Trump
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the Washington Post/ABC News poll, only three in ten people said they were optimistic on the issue.

A total of 58 percent of those polled said they would rather trust Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton to handle race relations than her Republican rival Donald Trump, who was supported by 26 percent of the interviewed.

The pollster interviewed 1,003 US adults by phone between July 11 and July 14.
