The Russian center for Syrian reconciliation registered Jaysh al-Islam militants to violate ceasefire regime in Syria three times in the past 24 hours, shelling the suburbs of the capital city of Damascus, the Russian Defense Ministry said Sunday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — "Within last 24 hours, 3 ceasefire violations have been registered in the Damascus province. Jaysh al-Islam formations, which had claimed to belong to the opposition, have performed mortar shelling of residential quarters of the Damascus city from positions located near Jaubar, Harasta, and Duma," the ministry's statement reads.
