On 19 July, in one of the tombs of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Chinese scientists have located a fresco with a mural that spreads over 30 square meters. They estimate that it was made about two thousand years ago, Xinhua News Agency reports.
As reported, the fresco, which consists of more than 10 images, partly covers not only walls, but also the tomb’s ceiling, located in the urban district of Ordos. The images display fragments of life of people buried in the tomb.
According to scientists, the tomb dates back to the Eastern Han Dynasty, which existed in 25-220 BC.
