In the early hours of Wednesday, police were called to the scene after the 20-year-old man began disturbing other travelers on a Central Coast train by showing them his long, scaly friend. The python's owner did not have a permit for the snake that he kept in his backpack, according to an official police statement.
The New South Wales police also tweeted a picture of the snake, complementing it with a reference to "Snakes on a Plane," the action thriller film starring Samuel L. Jackson.
