Bolivian President Evo Morales says his country does not plan on taking diplomatic visas away from Chilean officials.

MEXICO CITY (Sputnik) – On Tuesday, Chilean Foreign Minister Heraldo Muñoz Valenzuela said that his country was planning to give notice of the termination of the 1985 agreement on diplomatic visas with Bolivia.

"Ministry of Foreign Affairs of #Chile says that it will remove visas of Bolivian diplomats. Despite their abuses, Bolivia will not cancel visas for Chilean diplomats," Morales wrote on Twitter.

The move came after a Bolivian delegation to Chile inspected Chilean ports amid allegations of mistreatment of Bolivian truckers, without first getting authorization from Chilean authorities.
