KIEV (Sputnik) – Ukraine does not anticipate receiving the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) next tranche of financial aid this month, Ukrainian Minister of Finance Oleksandr Danylyuk said Thursday.
“If it does not pass in July, and it seems that we do not have time based on the schedule, then it will [pass] immediately after the fund management’s return from the holidays,” Danylyuk told reporters, suggesting that the IMF executive board’s annual recess lasts for three weeks.
Late last week, the minister said a preliminary plan was to receive three $3-4 billion tranches by the end of the year.
