"My last thought for you today — Love Trump's hate," Clinton told cheering supporters at the end of her almost 30 minute speech on Friday.
Defying widespread speculation, Clinton did not announce her choice of a vice presidential running mate, and she avoided giving any specifics of what her domestic, foreign or national security policies would be if elected president.
Clinton also ignored the many criticisms made on her at the four-day Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio this week.
She appeared to be keeping her main policy statements and detailed attacks on her opponent, Republican candidate Donald Trump, until the Democratic Convention opens in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Monday.
