In an incident which embarrassed the Indian government, an examination card for the post of head constable was issued to none other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The examination card has Prime Minister Narendra Modi's photograph and name. The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has launched an inquiry into the incident.

The admit card bearing the number 005615 was issued for the test and scrutiny of papers for the Group Center at Rampur. The card shows the roll number 2430026090 for the screening held on July 15 for a head constable post in the CRPF. The card also has a scanned photo of Modi. Other details mentioned on the card include his date of birth (listed as October 18, 1992), father's name Rarendra Modi and address: the village Samrai in Amritsar.

What baffles CRPF top officials how it was not detected during the screening of the credentials of the candidates.

A Sputnik correspondent tried to contact the CRPF's top officials but they were reluctant to talk on this issue and only mentioned that a high level inquiry has been ordered.
