MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The incident took place on late Saturday when the ferry operated by New York Waterway hit the Paulus Hook dock at a "fast rate of speed," New York Times reported citing Steve Strohmaier, a spokesman for the Coast Guard.

Three people were reportedly removed on stretchers while the rest left the ferry by themselves. Up to nine people were sent to a hospital.
There were 57 people on board of the ferry that was arriving from the World Financial Center in Manhattan.
