MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to NDTV broadcaster, Oli accused Nepali Congress in conspiracy against his government.

According to the media, Oli noted that he was being punished for the "good work" he has done on improvement of relations with India and China.

The no-confidence move was put forward by the Nepali Congress and Unified Communist Party of Nepal (UCPNM) also known as the Maoist Center, which has withdrew support from the coalition government.

Oli's two key ruling alliance partners, Madhesi People's Rights Forum-Democratic and Rastriya Prajatantra Party, also supported the no-confidence motion. The parties accused the prime minister of not honoring his past commitments.
