MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Daesh and Nusra Front shelled inhabited areas in the Syrian provinces of Aleppo, Damascus and Latakia, a daily bulletin on the Russian Defense Ministry website said.
"Within last 24 hours, terrorists have shelled Niqqirin, Braidge al-Rih, and Tell Jobegja inhabited areas, al-Khalidiyah, Sheikh Maqsood, al-Zahraa, quarters in the city of Aleppo with MLRS and mortars. Terrorists have also shelled following inhabited areas: Abd Beinuri, Jaubar, Kabun, Huteita al-Jarash, Haush al-Farah, Bahariyah in the Damascus province as well as Shillif in the Latakia province," the bulletin issued on late Saturday said.
The Russia-US brokered ceasefire regime in Syria came into force on February 27. The Nusra Front and the Islamic State terrorist groups, which are outlawed in Russia, are not part of the ceasefire deal.
