PHILADELPHIA (Sputnik) — If Hillary Clinton is elected president it will fuel right-wing extremism in the United States, US Green Party candidate Jill Stein told reporters.
"Putting [Hillary] Clinton in the White House will fan the flames of right-wing extremism," Stein said on Tuesday.
Clinton won the Democratic nomination for president of the United States on Tuesday by a roll call vote of delegates at the party's convention in Philadelphia.
"What is driving this is policies like NAFTA, like globalization, like the dominance of the banks, like Wall Street bailouts, like the Wall Street meltdown [due] to deregulation," Stein explained. "Who gave us those policies? The Clintons were leading the way on those policies."
