MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The new offices will expand Britain’s network of overseas outposts which are also based in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, Washington DC, San Francisco, Boston, Atlanta, Seattle, Miami, Denver.
"Our ambitious vision for an open and outward-looking UK economy includes growing our footprint in the most important markets around the world and these 3 cities offer exciting opportunities to boost trade and investment," Liam Fox said in a statement.
Each office will be staffed by one officer recruited in the United States. They will help the UK Consulate General to promote British business, economic and political ties. Last year, the offices helped the UK government secure 8 million pounds ($10.5 million) in capital investment and 1,000 UK jobs.
