According to 40th UNESCO session in Istanbul, the list of World heritage significantly increased by 41 places. Among them are the Iranian desert Dasht-e Lut, Chinese forest Shen Nong Jia, and Nalanda Monastery in India. Remarkably interesting is that Tien-Shan, translated as “Celestial Mountains," also ended up on the list.

Iraqis ride a boat on July 14, 2016, during a tour in the Ahwar area in the southern Maysan province - also known as the Iraqi Marshlands - one of the world's largest inland delta systems. UNESCO has named Iraqi marshlands once ravaged by Dictator Saddam Hussein as a World Heritage Site, a bright spot for a country where jihadists have repeatedly sought to wipe out history. The marshlands once stretched across some 20,000 square kilometers (7,700 square miles), but they were devastated after Saddam ordered them drained in the 1990s to stop them being used as hideouts by Shiite guerrillas opposed to his regime.

Ruins of Nalanda University are situated 90 kilometers away from Bihar, the state capital Patna. The ancient Indian university, destroyed by foreign invaders more than 800 years ago, is to be re-built as a symbol of the country's intention to become a world center of higher education. Nalanda University, in the eastern state of Bihar, had 10,000 students and scholars from across Asia studying subjects ranging from science and philosophy to literature and mathematics.

Rock Paintings of the Hua Mountain are situated on the west bank of the Mingjiang River in Yaoda Town. It is a Chinese rock painting, providing clear and definite evidence of the history of the disappeared ancient Luoyue people. This "art of the ancient West" carrys rich context and information and is important part of the civilization of China.

Nelson's Dockyard is a cultural heritage site and marina in English Harbour, Antigua. In mid-1780s, English Hrabour was the haunt for many naval officers. Today it is a wonderful place to visit as it has lots of small lovely cafes and restaurants as well as parks to enjoy a walk.
