NEW DELHI (Sputnik) — Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaffirmed the country's commitment to boosting its strategic partnership with the United Kingdom, the Prime Minister's office said Wednesday.
Modi held telephone talks with UK Prime Minister Theresa May on Tuesday.
"Prime Minister Modi recalled his memorable visit to the UK last November and affirmed India’s commitment to further strengthen the strategic partnership between both countries," the office said in a statement on its website.

Modi expressed appreciation for UK support for India on different global platforms.
According to the statement, May said she was looking forward to working with Modi in order to develop stronger UK-India relations and enhance cooperation in addressing global challenges.
