According to the IRNA news agency, the announcement was made during Izadi's meeting with South Korean Vice Minister for Land, Infrastructure and Transport Kim Kyung-hwan. The two officials met on the sidelines of the third session of the Preparatory Committee for Habitat III on July 25-27 in the Indonesian city of Surabaya.
The officials reportedly called for enhancing cooperation in science, infrastructure and urban development spheres.
Kim expressed support for the implementation of bilateral agreements as soon as possible, noting that the two sides had five cooperation deals in road and urban development.
Earlier, in early May, South Korean President Park Geun-hye visited Iran in order to discuss with the Iranian counterpart the strengthening of bilateral relations.
