Baltimore City State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby said that there was obvious bias in the investigation and prosecution of six officers for the death of African-American man Freddie Gray.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Some individuals in the Baltimore Police Department exhibited obvious bias in the investigation and prosecution of six officers for the death of African-American man Freddie Gray, Baltimore City State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby said at a press conference on Wednesday.

On Wednesday morning, prosecutors dropped all charges against the three remaining officers who were supposed to go on trial in the Gray case.

"Whether investigating, interrogating, testifying, cooperating or even complying with the state, we’ve all born witness to an inherent bias that is a direct result of when police police themselves," Mosby stated referring to Wednesday’s decision.
