"State special exporter Rosoboronexport (part of the Rostec State Corporation) and the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) have signed a Program to promote military aircraft on the external market for the period 2016-2019. The document was signed by Rosoboronexport Director General Anatoly Isaykin and UAC President Yury Slyusar," the press release said.
The press release added that within the framework of the Program the sides agreed to jointly analyze foreign markets and coordinate their efforts in promotion of their production.
According to the press release, Rosoboronexport has already signed a similar document with the Russian Helicopters holding.
Rosoboronexport was created in 2000 to implement Russian policy in the area of military and technical cooperation between Russia and foreign states. According to company's press service it is responsible for the export of some 85 percent of Russia-manufactured arms.
Russia's UAC was created in 2006 to consolidate country's aviation assets in order to preserve and develop potential of the Russian aviation industry and to ensure country's security and defense capabilities.
