The posters have been tacked onto trees and pub windows in Leytonstone and despite being taken down, they keep on reappearing.
The posters — clearly a joke — are inviting members of the public to sign up at a local pub to join a pretend "ISIS" (also known as Daesh) band.
"Ever wanted to see the world, fight against rock music and get paid for the pleasure?" the poster asks.

"Come and join ISIS. We have a strict policy of denying membership to the following: real Muslims, Christians, atheist, Hindus, Sikhs, Jews and members of the LGBT community."
The poster continues:
"Due to propaganda opportunities we are currently offering a free bonus wife for any Caucasians who join."
However the posters have been condemned by community leaders.
Yusuf Hansa, chairman of Noor Ul Islam mosque in Leyton High Road told Asian Image:
"The poster is a prank but it is wrong. One should not do this in this day and age especially. It is dangerous."
Local councilors say staff have been removing the posters and making workers in local pubs and Leytonstone tube station aware of the flyposting.
