MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The Russian Sport Ministry board approved a targeted reserve training strategy, subject to the Russian cabinet’s approval later this year, Sport Minister Vitaly Mutko said Friday.
"Our task is to bring an entire system to a specific denominator. The strategy has been approved today. This year, I hope it will be approved by the Russian government… We are beginning to implement the first stage of the strategy this year," Mutko said.
The reserve training draft concept has been approved by the Russian lower house of parliament and submitted for the cabinet’s approval.
