WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – Trump’s July 21 speech at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, had about 35 million TV viewers, with 32.2 million on ad-supported channels and 2.6 million on PBS, the newspaper said on Friday.
In contrast, Hillary Clinton’s speech at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia was viewed by 33.7 million people, 3.9 million of them on PBS and the rest on broadcast networks.
Hillary Clinton officially accepted the Democratic nomination on Thursday and will face Republican nominee Donald Trump in the national US presidential elections in November.
According to the latest poll data, Clinton has more support among American voters than her Republican rival.
