MOSCOW(Sputnik) — The president and the Council discussed the humanitarian situation in war-torn Syria, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Monday.
"During the meeting, topical international issues were discussed, particularly humanitarian issues in Syria," Peskov told reporters.
The president and the Council also discussed the current socio-economic agenda in Russia, according to the spokesman.
"An exchange of opinions took place regarding the development of tourist infrastructure, considering the increasing demand for tourism within Russia," he said.
