MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Latvian inspectors will verify information provided by Minsk to other OSCE member states under the Vienna Document of 2011, the statement added.
"Under the Latvian-Belarusian agreement on additional confidence and security building measures a group of Latvian inspectors led by Verification Center Commander Lt. Col. Aigars Eglitis will pay a visit to assess the 19th guards mechanized brigade of the North-Western Operative Command in the period from August 2 through August 4," the statement said.
The Vienna Document of 2011 aimed at confidence and security building in Europe envisages that OSCE member states provide each other with information on their armed forces, defense planning and military budget details as well as exchange military observers and carry out inspections.
