WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Young, a 13-year veteran of the Washington, DC Metro Transit police, was arrested for attempting to send mobile messaging cards overseas for use by Daesh fighters, the Washington Post reported.

Daesh terrorist group, outlawed in the United States, Russia and numerous other countries throughout the world, has seized vast areas in Iraq and Syria, forcing thousands of people to flee their homes.
