MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Speculation of impending cabinet reshuffles in Russia is common guesswork that no longer merits reactions, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Wednesday.
“Exercises on the subject of forthcoming resignations of the cabinet are not new in domestic and foreign political circles. We know that everyone consistently reads tea leaves and predicts with a small or greater degree of certainty the resignation of certain members of the government, the cabinet as a whole, the prime minister, and others,” Peskov told reporters.
Commenting on media reports of an alleged reshuffle following this fall's parliamentary elections in Russia, the Kremlin spokesman said, “These speculations are so persistent they are no longer, in fact, perceived as worthwhile information.”
