The International Boxing Association (AIBA) confirmed that all Russian boxers are eligible to compete at Rio 2016, according to official statement.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The International Boxing Association (AIBA) gave the go-ahead on Thursday for all 11 Russian boxers to compete at the Rio Olympics.

"AIBA has carried out an individual analysis of the anti-doping record of each of the 11 Russian boxers… That process is now complete and confirmation has been received from the IOC Review Panel that the following 11 Russian boxers are eligible to compete at Rio 2016," AIBA said before listing two female and nine male boxers.

The International Olympic Committee's three-person panel is tasked with reviewing and issuing a final decision on the Russian entrants at the Summer Games.

Among those cleared is London 2012 bronze medalist and this year's medal hopeful Misha Aloyan.
