UAE-owned low-coaster FlyDubai said on its Facebook page it was working hard to minimize the disruption to passengers’ plans. "Today, there will continue to be delays and cancellations," the airline said.
Flights to and from Dubai International Airport were suspended for several hours. Although it reopened, it is currently operating with one runway.
