MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The European Commission introduced on Thursday five-year anti-dumping measures on cold rolled steel from China and Russia, according to a press release published on its website.
"The EU today imposed definitive anti-dumping measures [on] a steel product from China and Russia. These duties will be in place for five years," the press release reads.
The duties amount to up to 22.1 percent for Chinese cold rolled steel and up to 36.1 percent for Russian companies, according to the document.
The initiative comes as part of over 100 trade defense measures the European Union is currently undertaking to reestablish common rules between the bloc and foreign producers.
