MOSCOW (Sputnik) – A weapons ordnance storage facility caught on fire in the western Russian Nizhny Novgorod Region’s Volodarsky District, a regional law enforcement source told RIA Novosti on Thursday, adding that there were no victims.
“The fire broke out at the weapon ordnance warehouse’s open grounds in the Yuganets settlement. According to preliminary data, the fire area is about 100 square meters [1,076 square feet],” the source said.
The source added that the combustion area has been contained and there were no casualties.
