MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The English Defense League, a right-wing movement, took to the streets of Nottingham on Saturday to protest against Islam in the United Kingdom, local media reported.
At the same time, the Unite Against Fascism group is holding a counterdemonstration, The Nottingham Post newspaper said.
The two groups have a record of clashes, and local police have made preparations for the demonstrations, the publication added.
On Friday, Nottingham saw a Black Lives Matter protest, with demonstrators blocking the city center. Four people were arrested by police.
