RIO DE JANEIRO (Sputnik) – Alisher Usmanov, president of the International Fencing Federation (FIE) organized additional doping tests for the Russian fencing team before the 2016 Rio Olympics that revealed that all athletes were clean, Rio Olympic champion saber fencer Yana Egorian said.
"Usmanov organized us additional doping tests before the Games, in which all athletes took part. All of them were ‘clean.’ Fencing is not a sport where somebody uses doping," Egorian told journalists.
