BAKU (Sputnik) – Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov urged the United Nations on Monday to promptly update its list of terrorist organizations, reiterating the need for terror groups to face responsibility.
"The declaration adopted today focuses on the need for joint efforts on the anti-terrorist front. The international community has a duty to remain steadfast in the fight against terrorism, the United Nations must update the lists of terrorist organizations in a timely manner," Lavrov said at the press conference following the first trilateral summit of Iranian and Azerbaijani leaders in Baku.
