Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Wednesday he expects to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Group of 20 (G20) summit in China next month.

NEW DELHI (Sputnik) – The 2016 G20 summit in Hangzhou will be held on September 4–5.

"I once again thank your excellency, Putin, for joining me in this dedication and I look forward to meeting you at G20 in China," Modi said at the final handover of the Kudankulam nuclear power plant’s first unit with Putin via video linkup.
