Swedish Migration Minister Morgan Johansson expressed dissatisfaction on Friday with Hungary's "unacceptable" unwillingness to welcome refugees from other European countries.

STOCKHOLM (Sputnik) — The Swedish minister said that he also intended to raise the issue with the Nordic neighbors.

"All EU countries should follow the common rules, otherwise they cannot be within [the bloc]. I will summon the Hungarian ambassador next week to convey this. I will also write to the European Commission and will request it to act, " Johansson told the TT news agency.

He recalled that he had already addressed Hungarian Minister of Justice Laszlo Trocsanyi on the issue, stressing that Hungary should not demonstrate any exception in the framework of the common EU policies.

'Migration is a Poison': Hungary’s Orban Calls Migrants 'Terror Risk'
In September 2015, the European Commission called on EU member states to redistribute 160,000 asylum seekers from Africa and the Middle East located primarily in Greece, Italy and Hungary, throughout the bloc over two years. Certain EU states, primarily from the eastern part of the bloc, opposed the quota system.

As the migrant crisis severely hit Europe last year, Hungary sealed its border with Serbia, erecting a razor wire fence on the border and sentencing people to jail for illegal border crossing.

In February, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban decided to hold a referendum on the migrant acceptance quotas.
