MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, All-Russia Athletic Federation (ARAF) President Dmitry Shlyakhtin said that the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) has not allowed Klishina to participate at the Rio Olympics and that her appeal to CAS will be reviewed on Sunday.

"The ad hoc Division of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) atthe Olympic Games Rio 2016 registered today an application filed by the Russian athlete Darya Klishina (long jump) against the decision declaring her ineligible to compete in international competitions, including the athletics competition at the Olympic Games 2016, rendered by the Doping Review Board of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) on 12 August 2016," the statement reads.

According to the statement, the IAAF, the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) have been invited to participate in the arbitration procedure as the respondent and the interested parties, respectively.

In July, the IAAF prohibited all Russian athletes from taking part in international competitions, including the upcoming Rio Olympics, except long jump athlete Darya Klishina, who trains in the United States.
