17:57 GMT 15.08.2016 (Updated: 18:12 GMT 15.08.2016) At least 10 people died and over 20 have been wounded in terrorist shelling of western and central neighborhoods of the Syrian city of Aleppo, local medical personnel told RIA Novosti on Monday.
ALEPPO (Sputnik) – A member of the Syrian militia clarified that the city's Christian neighborhood of Sulaymaniyah was heavily targeted in the shelling.
“We and the neighboring hospitals received over 20 people with shrapnel wounds. Ten civilians were killed. All the victims were taken in after a mortar attack on the western and central districts of the city,” an Aleppo central hospital official said.
