MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the Khaama news agency, the detainee claimed that the Daesh training camp was located near the Pakistani city of Quetta in Balochistan province.
The arrested militant, who originated from Afghanistan, confessed to having been recruited by the Daesh militant group in the country's southern province of Zabul and then was taken to Pakistan to study insurgency tactics, the media outlet added.
The city of Quetta has been recently hit by two explosions. On August 8, a bomb blast went off at Quetta civil hospital and killed over 70 people. On August 11, a second explosion near Al-Khair Hospital left about a dozen injured. The militant group Jamaat-ur-Ahrar, a splinter faction of the Pakistani Taliban militant group, claimed responsibility for the attacks.
