BANGKOK (Sputnik) — Last week, a series of blasts killed four people and injured dozens, including foreign tourists, on the island of Phuket, in the town of Hua Hin and several other Thai tourist spots.
"The ministry will create an info graphic map and user guide for Pokemon hunters, offering locations, tips, and do's and don'ts for tourists," the minister said as quoted by the Bangkok post.
However, Thai authorities currently insist on limiting the game on the territory of the country over security concerns. Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) is now awaiting an answer to a request to Niantic, the developer of Pokemon Go, sent on August 10, to remove sensitive areas from the mobile game. It threatened to ban the game if the request is not fulfilled.
