MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The two documents envisage the establishment of a hotline for senior officials in order to be able to respond to maritime emergency situations in South China Sea.
The documents are expected to be made public in September at an ASEAN summit once they are approved by the leaders of China all 10 ASEAN member countries.
The approval of the two documents took place during the 13th Senior Officials' Meeting on the Implementation of the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea in China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
