PARIS (Sputnik) – The TER crash near the commune of Saint-Aunes was purportedly caused by a tree uprooted by a violent hailstorm, according to Montpellier-based Infos-H24 news outlet.

According to BFM TV, at least 60 people were injured. The accident caused three serious and 10 minor injuries, the French national railway company SNCF said Wednesday.
"TER accident, official emergency workers' figures: 3 serious injuries, 10 minor injuries," the SNCF said in a post on Twitter.
