An Italian bishop threatened to sue the makers of the Pokémon Go game. He claims that the game is “diabolic” as it turns users into the “walking dead.”

Antonio Stagliano, an Italian bishop of the southern village of Noto in Sicily, declared his readiness to go to court to ban the addictive Pokémon Go app.

The bishop announced that Pokémon Go is “a totalitarian system similar to Nazism,” which “alienates thousands and thousands of young people” due to the game’s virtual reality monster-hunt.

In the last week of July, luxury hotel groups in Tuscany offered anti- Pokémon therapy to their guests.

Pokémon Go is an augmented-reality game which allows users to catch the pocket monsters using GPS navigation. It has become a global sensation since its launch on July 6.
