PSKOV (Sputnik) — Russia is ready to cooperate with NATO on Afghanistan, but will not try to persuade Brussels, Russia's permanent envoy to NATO Alexander Grushko said Thursday.
"We are ready to continue such cooperation. But NATO made a decision [to cease cooperation]…these issues are never off the agenda, but we are not going to try and persuade anyone. And, of course, NATO countries bear the primary responsibility for such decisions. If they reconsider, that would serve our mutual interests," Grushko told RIA Novosti.
