MOSCOW (Sputnik) — In 2015, the World Anti-Doping Agency’s (WADA) Independent Commission issued a report accusing Russia of numerous breaches of global anti-doping regulations, which led to Russia’s suspension from the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF).
"My belief is that if our organization is not restored for another period of time, what's the point of paying?" Mutko told R-Sport.
In July, IAAF banned all Russian athletes from taking part in international competitions including the Rio Olympics, making an exception for long jumper Darya Klishina, who trains in the United States.
