MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The survey, dubbed 2015 Expat Explorer Survey, was carried out by YouGov for HSBC between March and May 2015 among 21,950 expats based in over 100 countries. The top three countries are Switzerland, Sweden and Germany, according to the poll, while Russia takes the fourth place.
"At fourth place in our league table is Russia, where sixty-two percent of expats said there is a better opportunity to acquire new skills and find more fulfilling work. Over two thirds (69%) said they found it easy to form new friendships since moving to Russia, which can help a new country feel more like home both professionally and personally," a report on the poll results reads.
The Expat Explorer Survey is considered to be the world's largest independent global survey of expatriates.
